I’ve known Joshua and Rebecca for quite some time now. I met this couple 6 years
ago when I was shooting Joshua’s aunt’s wedding, and since then we became like
friends. I shot Joshua and Rebecca on several occasions as I also photographed
their graduations, not to mention that Joshua used to live quite close to my studio
too.
Their wedding was rather unique and very well thought of. Both bride and groom
wished to have photos of them getting ready. I went to Rebecca’s house where I
took photos of her and her bridal party (her bridesmaids as well as her mum) with
their personalised gowns. I then proceeded to photograph the groomsmen, which
were getting ready at Antoino’s barbershop. This was quite unique and the place
gave us plenty of opportunity to shoot different photos of the groomsmen and the
groom enjoying themselves while getting ready.
The wedding ceremony took place at San Pawl tat-Targa chapel, where Joshua
arrived in a black hammer from the Groom’s Car, while Rebecca arrived in a
wonderful vintage car from 1943 from John’s Garage.
After the ceremony, Rebecca and Joshua headed to Popeye Village, but decided to
arrive to the venue by boat. Busy bee was in charge of the food at the reception, but
the bride and groom had a unique cake designed by Gino’s cake and crumbs. They
also had a candy table by Fiona’s candy bar and a cocktail bar by Kombi bar. Main
entertainment was by Spiteri Lucas and the after party was by Dj Mullholland.
Joshua prepared a wonderful surprise for Rebecca; he invited the Travellers to
entertain the after party. The bride and groom left with a yellow Camaro from The
Groom’s Car. Mauro D’Amato shot their wedding video. Sean Azzopardi was
responsible of Photography.
